No one expects great artists, which you are, to be great minds, but c'mon, man, anyone with your vibrancy of imagination shouldn't have much trouble in understanding that Boomers are not a uniform thing, that we're tens of millions of individuals who happened to be born within the same twenty year period. Some of us conform to the stereotype, which I see as a variety of madness which occurs in virtually all generations in which some families have or make a lot of money. But by and large, I think generational determinism is the default position of nonthinking minds.
Funny how the iconography of the meme is boomer to the core. Today’s rebels are going to have a very different project than the boomer rebels did. More power to them: every era should get the rebels it deserves.
